Personal WebsiteTanguy Bernard is a professor at the University of Bordeaux and Director of the Bordeaux School of Economics. His research interests include development economics, agricultural economics, and African studies. Tanguy’s work is mainly focused on Africa, where he conducts research on topics such as smallholder commercialization (through contracts, cooperatives and rural assembly markets), poverty and the formation of aspirations, and intra-household decision-making. He received his PhD in development microeconomics and applied econometrics from the Centre for Study and Research on International Development.
