Economist at the Asian Development Bank
The main focus of David Raitzer’s career has been rigorous quantification of achieved and potential impacts of development investments using novel approaches that draw on tools from different disciplines. His has included a range of methods (often in mixture), from randomized experiments, to quasi-experimental approaches, bio-economic modeling, and economy-wide modeling for a range of international organizations and donors. This has primarily been focused on the agriculture, natural resources and environment (including climate change) sectors.
